Engagement towards mobile-ticketing applications: How do North African mobile users build their engagement through perceived service quality?
Purpose: the aim of this study is to examine the determinants of perceived quality of mobile-ticketing and its impact on the engagement of mobile users towards applications of companies in the tertiary sector.
Design/methodology/approach: an exploratory qualitative study is conducted among end-users of mobile-ticketing applications. Data includes 21 semi-structured interviews with end-users exclusively from service provider platforms.
Findings: this study delimits the determinants of perceived quality for a mobile-ticketing service and their role in the engagement building process towards the Application brand. It shows that engagement is conditioned by the quality of service and satisfaction in a mobile-ticketing context.
Originality: this article extends the theory on perceived service quality by integrating different determinants specific to mobile-ticketing. It is one of the first specialized researches in a mobile service domain and that studies a specific branch of mobile marketing, while the majority of studies address electronic service quality

The impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on employeeâs engagement: Exploratory study of IT companies in Morocco.
Research in management science has offered a body of work focused on the theme of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and that of organizational behavior. However, research seems limited on the interaction of these two variables. The concept of CSR appears relevant because it questions organizational functioning and the role of human resources management (HRM).
We opted for the case of Information Technology (IT) companies in Morocco as a field of investigation. Our research focuses on the question: Can employeeâs perception of CSR have an effect on their attitudes and behaviors as organizational commitment?
This article highlights the effect associations that tie our two variables through the analysis of nineteen qualitative interviews. The results enrich the understanding of the impact of the perception of CSR on the behaviors and attitudes of employees in terms of organizational commitment.
The exploratory nature of our research leads us to choose a qualitative methodology with a comprehensive aim. Semi-structured interviews with 19 individual made it possible to explore the different perceptions of employees and the resulting organizational commitment behaviors
Electrochemically Enhanced Drug Delivery Using Polypyrrole Films
The delivery of drugs in a controllable fashion is a topic of intense research activity in both academia and industry because of its impact in healthcare. Implantable electronic interfaces for the body have great potential for positive economic, health, and societal impacts; however, the implantation of such interfaces results in inflammatory responses due to a mechanical mismatch between the inorganic substrate and soft tissue, and also results in the potential for microbial infection during complex surgical procedures. Here, we report the use of conducting polypyrrole (PPY)-based coatings loaded with clinically relevant drugs (either an anti-inflammatory, dexamethasone phosphate (DMP), or an antibiotic, meropenem (MER)). The films were characterized and were shown to enhance the delivery of the drugs upon the application of an electrochemical stimulus in vitro, by circa (ca.) 10â30% relative to the passive release from non-stimulated samples. Interestingly, the loading and release of the drugs was correlated with the physical descriptors of the drugs. In the long term, such materials have the potential for application to the surfaces of medical devices to diminish adverse reactions to their implantation in vivo
Sesamol Loaded Albumin Nanoparticles: A Boosted Protective Property in Animal Models of Oxidative Stress
The current study evaluated the ability of sesamol-loaded albumin nanoparticles to impart protection against oxidative stress induced by anthracyclines in comparison to the free drug. Albumin nanoparticles were prepared via the desolvation technique and then freeze-dried with the cryoprotectant, trehalose. Albumin concentration, pH, and type of desolvating agent were assessed as determining factors for successful albumin nanoparticle fabrication. The optimal nanoparticles were spherical in shape, and they had an average particle diameter of 127.24 ± 2.12 nm with a sesamol payload of 96.89 ± 2.4 Όg/mg. The drug cellular protection was tested on rat hepatocytes pretreated with 1 ”M doxorubicin, which showed a 1.2-fold higher protective activity than the free sesamol. In a pharmacokinetic study, the loading of a drug onto nanoparticles resulted in a longer half-life and mean residence time, as compared to the free drug. Furthermore, in vivo efficacy and biochemical assessment of lipid peroxidation, cardiac biomarkers, and liver enzymes were significantly ameliorated after administration of the sesamol-loaded albumin nanoparticles. The biochemical assessments were also corroborated with the histopathological examination data. Sesamol-loaded albumin nanoparticles, prepared under controlled conditions, may provide an enhanced protective effect against off-target doxorubicin toxicity
